Description
Certified Fire Alarm Inspector (NICET certification preferred) must have experience with testing and inspecting fire alarm systems. Inspector will be responsible for test inspection, detailed and accurate documentation, communication with client, and communication with service team. Inspector will be required to troubleshoot and make repairs as needed. Responsibilities and Duties Test and Inspection of Fire Alarm Systems Communicate with Client and Service team periodically throughout the inspection process to address and correct issues Perform minor repairs as needed Document inspections Train new inspectors as needed Know and Understand NFPA 72 as well as all local codes and regulations governing Fire Alarm installation. Utilize technical resources to perform tasks Maintain NICET Certification Qualifications and Skills NICET Certification Three years of inspection and or Fire Alarm Installation experience preferred Know and understand NFPA 72 as well as all local codes and regulations governing Fire Alarm installation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Above average ability with computers, smart phones, and software such as Microsoft Office Suite but especially Word, Visio, and Outlook Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test. Valid drivers license
