VSC Fire and Security is seeking candidates for the position of Deficiency Estimator.

What you need:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in service repair estimating, preferably in the life safety industry.
- Strong knowledge of life safety systems, including fire sprinklers, fire alarms, backflow assembly, suppression, and security systems.
- Highly motivated, organized, and capable of handling adversity in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members, local Divisions, and customers.
- Flexibility to travel occasionally for training purposes.
- Ability to work remotely, if required, and collaborate efficiently with team members in different office locations.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with local Division teams for clarification and assess deficiency particulars in life safety systems.
- Utilize your expertise in service repair estimating to accurately quantify the resources required for resolving deficiencies.
- Coordinate and communicate with the local Divisions and customers regarding the status of deficiency resolution.
- Ensure timely follow-up and effective communication with all stakeholders to maintain smooth progress.
- Stay updated with the latest industry standards and regulations related to life safety systems.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of deficiency resolution activities.
- Act as a liaison between different teams and Divisions to ensure seamless coordination and execution.
- Provide support to team members during deficiency rectification processes.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of deficiency-related activities.
- Maintain proper Risk Management and Safety procedures on all job sites per VSC policies.
