VSC Fire & Security, a leading fire protection and life safety system contractor, is seeking qualified candidates for an Administrative Assistant for the Alarms department in their Virginia Beach district office.
We are seeking an experienced administrative assistant with 3-5 years of recent administrative experience in the listed responsibilities. The responsibilities of the position will include (but are not limited to): alarm service call scheduling and dispatching of technicians; alarm parts purchasing, district contact for national account; alarm billing to include alarm monitoring billing; assisting with updating alarm monitoring contracts. The position may also assist with other administrative duties for the district as needed.
The successful candidate must have the following skills: professional demeanor, advanced computer skills (Word/Excel/ Outlook/Access), ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, positive attitude, and must be self-motivated. Alarm, scheduling and/or construction experience are a plus.
