The Mobile, AL district of VSC Fire & Security seeks qualified candidates for the position of Project Manager for our Low Voltage department.
This position will be responsible for managing multiple projects under one setting, assist with the review of work of department staff; provide training, instruction, and technical advice as needed; oversee projects to completion; perform design work, and serve as an consultant for low voltage employees. This person will also work to ensure the delivery of quality service to the customer while maintaining scope of the company's obligations as defined by the contract and/or work order. This position will be expected to interact and communicate in a professional and positive manner.
This position requires 10 years of experience in the fire protection industry with prior supervision, management, and design experience preferred. NICET certification with knowledge of applicable state, local codes, IBC, relevant NFPA Standards, and AHJ governing the location of the company's work geography preferred. Demonstrated PC skills as well as experience using a customer database management system are preferred.
