Role on the Team (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform regular inspections of sprinkler systems, including servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Document the inspection results in a written report that outlines any issues found during the inspection.
- Recommend repair or replacement of equipment as needed based on inspection findings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and fire codes.
- Perform system tests for leaks using air and liquid pressure equipment.
- Able to coordinate between inspection deficiencies and service required to correct found deficiencies.
- Provide clear communication about inspection or project delays, requirements and general status of job to ensure that the customer receives high level of service efficiently and timely.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years in Fire Sprinkler Inspection Service and Repair
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
- Valid in-state driver's license with clean driving record
- Technology savvy (iPhone, iPad, Office Suite Applications) is a plus
- Can work well both in teams and independently
- Works well with hands
- Clearly demonstrate effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Possess strong customer service skills and handle challenging situations in a professional manner
- Have a strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
- Demonstrate the ability to complete work orders and meet deadlines
